Outside Courts

We know how keen members must be to get back playing tennis and wanted to update you all on why the hardcourts are not available at the moment. They have all been power cleaned in preparation for painting and we don't want the fluff of the tennis balls, or any other debris, getting stuck in the porous surface of the courts because this may cause the paint to lift. The painters have confirmed that the paint has arrived and they will start the pianting on Monday and will take two to three days to complete.

We ask you to bear with us and If for any reason, there is any further delay, we will open them up and the painters will then need to power clean the courts again before painting. This can take two days and then the courts would need to be closed for up to a total of five days which we are trying to avoid.

The Directors apologies for the inconvenience but as you are aware, the restriction only began to lift on Wednesday and in addition, the painting company had restrictions on movements imposed.

Thank you for your understanding and hopefully by Thursday next week at the latest, all the outdoor courts will be available for all the members to enjoy thier tennis.
