Members gathered in feverish excitement at the Nag's Head, Willaston, on May 2nd to see the crowning of Simon Speirs (pictured above in red) as the 2024-25 WTC Winter League champion after one of the closest competitions in the club's history. 

Also pictured is Graham Ridgway who managed the amazing feat of being involved in the most drawn games for the second year running.

Will Straiton could not be with us in person to pick up his runners-up trophy, but was with us in spirit/video link as captured in the mirror.

Below Will can be seen the pigeon who was our most committed fan, turning up with his mate to cheer (or coo) us on most Sunday mornings.
