Over 70 people attended the meeting and after an introduction from NW U3A committee members,  all were given the opportunity to suggest activities via a questionnaire.  This produced many very interesting responses and most encouragingly, a number of people who were willing to volunteer to lead activities.  

The next phase is for the “steering committee “ to adopt a constitution, to open a bank account and to set plans in motion in time for the Inaugural Meeting on September 4th.  At that meeting a full U3A committee will be appointed and activities will commence as soon as possible afterwards.
