SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH!

The U3A Launch Meeting held at the club on June 6th was a great success with 70+ folk attending - many of whom had never been to the club house before! After various speakers outlining the work of the U3A the vote was unanimous to go ahead to set up a group in this area. Everyone completed a questionnaire stating what activities they would be interested in and what groups, if any, they would be willing to lead. The  committee will now hold meetings every couple of weeks in order to form a constitution, set up bank accounts etc etc and we aim to be up and running by September 4th.
