Fun, food and fundraising was the triple order of the day at Wiveliscombe Tennis Club on Sunday as members raised money for Ukraine in the first tournament of the year.
The Triples Tournament raised £230 for charities helping war victims in Ukraine and countries welcoming its refugees.
Teams of three, playing with soft balls and simple rules involving no serves, needed all the usual tennis skills to overcome rivals, with several contests ending with the tightest results.
The reward was an impressive array of food in the clubhouse or on a terrace bathed in appropriate colours of a blue sky and bright yellow sun.
Winners of Round 1 were Kate Rees, Rachael Sharland and Sara Paget. Joint winners of Round 2 were The Three Musketeers - Amy Greenway, Anne Parker and Caroline Norfolk - and The Court Jesters - Jeremy Toye, Barry Eaton and Maggie Andrews.
