
We are pleased to be able to let you know that we are running a singles competition again for any girls and boys (club members only) 14 years & under, born between 2012 and 2015 only.
The event will take place at the club on Sunday 3rd May at 1.30pm and you need to be available for approx. guide 2 - 3 hours). The reserve day in the case of bad weather will be Sunday 10th May at 1.30pm.
Who can Play?
1: Any junior member of the club under 14 years, born between 2012 - 2015 only can enter.
2: There will be a U/14 boys and U/14 girls events
3: We would suggest that you have some match experience with yellow ball, full court tennis and the rules of the game, however the event is open to any junior member of the club in the above age bracket.
4: All players need to have an LTA advantage membership number which you can sign up to, for free and online, at 'junior advantage play' via the link below. Then scroll down to Advantage Play for free for the category, 4-18 years.

Format
We will decide on the exact overall format of the competition nearer the time, when we know how many players have entered the event. However, it is a singles competition, and we will give the juniors a lot of tennis and enough matches.
The winners of our events will go through to Area Finals and then on to County Finals if successful.

Our member Oscar Rush won the Surrey final and then played at Wimbledon, where he got to the last 16 in 2024! So we hope your child gets a chance to play in this enjoyable event.
