We are pleased to let you know that you can now enter Woldingham Tennis Club's Annual Tennis Tournament 🏆😀

The finals day will be on Sunday 15th September. Junior finals will be in the morning, with the adult finals from 12pm (noon).

Anyone with a  realistic chance should ensure they are available to play on finals day.

Please note and important: all players are responsible for contacting their opponent (s) as early as possible to arrange a time to play their match. If a match due is well beyond the" play by date" a coin may be spun to decide the winner (s). This is so to avoid holding up the draw.

Subject to sufficient interest the following events will be: 

🎾 Adult Events 🎾

Men's singles. Ladies' singles. Men's doubles. Ladies' doubles. Mixed doubles. Men's vets' singles. Men's vets' doubles. Ladies' vets' singles. Ladies' vets' doubles - vet's events are over 50's.

Adult scoring format is below:

All adult matches will be the best of three sets, with the final set (at one set all) being a full set, unless both/all players agree to play a match tiebreak instead at the beginning of their match.

🎾 Junior Events 🎾

U/8 singles (Red). U/9 singles (orange). U/10 singles (Green). U/11, U/12, U/14, U/16, U/18 yellow ball singles - all the junior age groups will have a girls' and boys' singles event, except the red and orange ball, which will be a round robin format on the final's day itself.  This is only open to 7 years & older. (Confident 6-year-olds may be considered for the red ball event depending on experience).  You do need to register for all these competitions.

Junior scoring format is below:

- Red and orange: one match tie break to 10 points with 2 points clear.
-10U: one FAST 4 set.
-11U to 18U: best of 2 FAST 4 sets, with a match tiebreak at one set all.

Please email Celia on celiaedw@yahoo.co.uk by the deadline 6th June and write 'Woldingham' in the subject line so that play can start mid-June. Please provide the following details:

          - your name
          - your contact details (email and mobile number)
          - the list of events that you would like to enter
          - if playing doubles (adults) the name of your chosen partner

If you would like to play doubles, but do not have a partner, please us know, and we will endeavour to link you with someone.
