We wanted to let you know about our upcoming junior match play events for Halloween on Friday, 31st October

This is an effective way of introducing players to competition in a friendly environment where they learn the rules and gain more confidence in match situations and play against other club members.

There will be a red, orange, and green ball singles event (round robin). The Yellow Ball will be a doubles event; you do not need a partner for the Yellow Ball event, we will rotate the players. All events are likely to be mixed events; however, this is dependent on numbers, as we need a minimum of 4 players to run each event.

Attendance requirements are minimal; we ask only that each child bring a drink and a snack.

The Red Ball Junior Matchplay details are below:
Friday 31st October at 10am

8 + Under -- Ideally for 7/8 years old, born in 2017 or later (duration is 1.5hrs).

The Orange Ball Junior Matchplay details are below:
Friday 31st October at 11.30am

9 + Under, born in 2016 or 2017 (duration is 1.5hrs)

The Green Ball Junior Matchplay details are below:
Friday 31st October at 11.30am

10 + Under - Ideally for 10 & under old, born in 2015 or 2016 (duration is 2hrs)

The Yellow Ball Junior Matchplay details are below (doubles)
Friday 31st October at 1pm

11 - 17 years (duration is 2hrs)

If the children would like to wear something Halloweeny, we do encourage this as all part of the festive spirit. If they are playing in singles events, just allow for freedom of movement.

Medals for winners/runner-up, prizes for best dressed and light refreshments available.

Cost:
Is to cover the coach's fee, small expenses, we envisage around £12-15 for each player; however, nothing to pay now and the entry fee can be paid on the day to the coach directly, as the fee is dependent on numbers.
