The Woodland Big Party defied the weather forecast , allowing everyone to have a wonderful afternoon without a single raindrop falling. The party started with a thrilling match between Tom and Ollie. In true Tom and Ollie style, the momentum shifted throughout the match as the spectators "oohed" and "ahhed". In the end Ollie pipped Tom to the post, winning 14 - 12 in the third set championship tie-break. Food followed and our very own tasty trio of Martin, Mark and Don, kept everyone well fed with delicious hot dogs and burgers and freshly made ice cream arrived to  round it off.  Tennis Pontoon proved popular. The winner being Peter B who scored 209, only one point away from the perfect 210.  Thanks to everyone who came along and made it such a special occasion.
