All ladies are invited to participate in the annual Worfield Tennis Ladies Doubles and Singles Competition.

This is a fun and firendly competition and we would like to encourage as many of you to enter as possible. All matches will be arranged at your convenience throughout the summer. 

For both Doubles and Singles:

Depending on numbers, there will be a round robin format within a box league – players will be paired up taking account of everyone’s abilities and with the aim of giving everyone some good tennis in a very friendly, relaxed tournament. This will give you and your partner approximately 4 matches to play, at a time to suit you and the opposition and anytime between launch and the beginning of September which is when Finals’ Day takes place. Matches are the best of 2/3 sets, with the third set being either a 10 point tie break or another set – for you to decide on the day with the opposition.

If you think you'd like to play, but feel a bit nervous, please don't worry. All the ladies are very friendly and supportive. The matches are an ideal opporunity to get on court and enjoy the lovely surroundings of Worfield Club. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch.
