Wrexham Tennis Centre announces new trustees

Wrexham Tennis Centre has announced two new appointments to its board of trustees.

Kim Roberts is a Campaigns Manager at Charities Aid Foundation, one of the UK’s largest charities where she works extensively on charity regulation and policy. Kim has a long history with the centre, having played full time in Wrexham as a junior where she represented both North Wales and Wales at various competitions.

Mark Morris is part of the senior coaching staff at Liverpool Football Club, where he is head of the academy goalkeepers’  programme. Mark’s coaching career includes goalkeeper coaching stints at Wrexham, Chesterfield, Hereford and Southport, and the Welsh U17’s squad.

The two new appointments join chairman Ray McNeill and will replace Andrew Roberts, Deborah King and Wynn Davies who retire after many years of service as Directors at the centre.

Chair of the Board Ray McNeill said:

“I am delighted to welcome Kim and Mark to the board. Their insight and experience will be enormously valuable as the centre looks to progress, and enable even more people to participate in tennis within the Wrexham and North Wales area. I look forward to working with them both.”
