Coaching at the club is ran by our Head Coach, Alice Robson. Alice is an LTA Accredited Plus Level 4 Coach and has experience of working with all different ages and abilities. She has been awarded LTA National Development Coach of the Year 2019/20 for the work she has done at Ackworth. For more information about the award please click here.
We offer group coaching and private lessons for adults and juniors. We also offer holiday camps. Group coaching is available on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning. Click here to see the full timetable.
Coaching follows the Wakefield School Calendar (39 weeks). Coaching sessions will not be on during half terms holidays. During the holidays there are children's camps available. Payment for group coaching is taken monthly via direct debits. It costs £21 a month for 1 session a week, £36.75 a month for 2 sessions a week and £52.50 for 3 sessions a week. The monthly fee pays for 39 weeks of coaching (only paying for 36 weeks taking into account anticipated cancelled sessions due to the weather). The cost coaching is paid monthly over 12 months to even out payments through the year.
