Ackworth tennis club and Ackworth School have jointly funded a 'deep clean' of all 5 acrylic tennis courts. Over the years dirt, algae and sap from the overhanging trees had built up, making the court surface very slippery when wet.  The difference after cleaning is now plain for all to see with the original green colour shining through once more! Members should now be able to play with much reduced chance of slipping and this will hopefully extend oppportunities to play through the winter.
