This winter Bamford's mixed team has been playing some excellent tennis in Division 2 of the SDLTA Winter Saturday League. We finished having won 10 out of 14 matches, having been within one match of promotion, and having topped the table for almost the whole season. It has been a brilliant season with so many close battles and great tennis. We played every match on time, and in some horrendous weather conditions at times.

Although the team comprises only 4 people, we have used 14 different players over the course of the season. Great to have so many of you involved. Thanks to everyone for their part in some really enjoyable tennis. And not forgetting our loyal supporters either, this one warming up at home after one of the more wintry matches…!
