Clubhouse Security

The clubhouse and courts must be left locked at all times with lights, heaters and other electrical equipment switched off. If you are a parent/guardian who has provided a junior with a key to the clubhouse, remember that you remain responsible for ensuring that this is done.  The Clubhouse is currently closed except for emergency access.

Floodlights

Floodlight switch is located in a cabinet (under the defibrillator) on the east side of the courts. Padlock code is per the courts. Please ensure that the light is firmly switched off and the cabinet properly locked after play.

Club Rules

Please acquaint yourself with our Rules and Regulations, available in the drop down tabs above and summarised on notices. In particular, you must wear appropriate footwear and leave the premises secure. Remember that if you bring in a non-member, a guest fee must be paid to the Club of £2:50 per 30 minutes. Guest fees are payable via the group booking function on ClubSpark.

If you are interested in participating, speak to our Captains, Pawel Ewertowski and Jane Hoare. and come along to a team practice session. There are also opportunities to play in inter-club social matches such as the Deeside League and the Mixed Social League.

Monthly Saturday Events

We have regular Senior or Junior social events about once a month on Saturday afternoons. They generally take the form of short games, run in a round-robin tournament style where partners are continually rotated. Refreshments and snacks or barbeque are provided and they commence at 13.30 for play at 14.00.  Watch the website and Club noticeboards for information on the forthcoming events.

Box Leagues

We run popular Box League competitions (singles and doubles) on a regular basis. These are advertised in our monthly newsletters. Contact Paul Wilson for further information.

Club Championships

These will take place over weekends at the end of August.  For “fun doubles” you simply nominate yourself for the different categories and then, your partner will be selected for you and a handicap awarded depending on your pairing   Alternatively, this year we will trial a new  “competitive doubles” category in which you enter as your own selected pairing. Please put these dates in your diary because if you are not available over those two weekends, you will not be able to join in the fun!
