The sun shone this weekend on a record turn out for the Club's annual Summer Social, which this year doubled up as the grand opening of our fantastic new clubhouse.

With over 150 members, friends and family in attendance, over £1800 of funds were raised across ticket sales, home baking stall and an absolutely fabulous raffle.

Between the burgers and bubbles, there were, of course, some hard-fought tournaments. Winners on the day were last year's pickleball champs, Rich & George Oldham, lifting the George Shanks memorial cup for tennis doubles, and Gillian & Scott Winter, taking home the pickleball siverware.

The Junior cup this year was awarded to Ava Maxwell (her second trophy of the day, no less!).

Club stalwart, Stephen Houston was also presented with an honoury lifetime membership award for his years of service and dedication to the club. We wish Stephen all the best with his upcoming move and have insisted he's not a stranger at BTC.

As ever, the committee were instrumental in the day's success, and the collective membership thank them for their unwavering dedication in making Bardowie such a unique and special tennis club!
