BBCTC celebrates the 75 year anniversary with a tennis tournament and spectacular BBQ. 

Over 100 people, including members and non-members, visited the club on Sunday 2nd June to celebrate the anniversary of the opening of the BBCTC. Many players took part in a fun tournament where Phil and Caroline were crowned winners in a nail-biting final. Our President, Pam Brown, gave an insightful speech to reflect on how the club has evolved over the years with additional courts, the development of the clubhouse and most importantly the inclusion of bar facilities!

After various "practice runs", a fantastic BBQ was cooked by keen chefs Alex, Patrick, Paul and Francois, with a vast array of different meats, salads and sides.  The cake pictured above was baked by Hannah Dunn and was enjoyed by all that attended. 

Well done to the Committee for putting on such a memorable 75th anniversary event!
