The annual George tournament raised in excess of £400 for charity this Sunday. The tournament, a collaboration between Bethersden, Biddenden, Charing and Pluckley saw 23 pairs battle it out in the group stages at local courts throughout the morning.

Bethersden duo, Izzy and David Griffiths, took on Woodchurch's Penny Stephens and her Bethersden partner, Toby Sainter in a high-class final held at Bethersden. Penny and Toby emerged triumphant with a 6-3 win to take home the silverware!
