Today was the annual mixed adults Coast Tournament between Beverley Park Lawn Tennis Club, Cullercoats Lawn Tennis Club and Collingwood Lawn Tennis Club. A great annual social event which brings the clubs together!

In tricky wet conditions Beverley Park LTC manage to get two teams out the group stage and into the semi finals with Cullercoats LTC and Collingwood LTC making up the final 4!

With the club players wearing our new green club clothing they also both manage to finish top of their groups at Cullercoats LTC and Collingwood LTC.

Two fantastic semi finals seen the Scrafton's, Michael & Sarah, beat Neil & Qun from Collingwood 6-1.

In the other semi final Rachel & Richard defeated Phill & Christine from Beverley Park LTC, in a tight set, 6-4! 

With temperatures dropping and light starting to fade the final began! Some excellent rallies and great shots from all players, which seen the Scrafton’s manage to edge the final 6-4 to bring the trophy home for the club.
