OPEN DAY 2024

2024 sees Blofield Tennis Club celebrate 100 years of play on the courts situated at the Margaret Harker Hall and Blofield Memorial Ground. We are planning a number of events and welcome everyone to join us to see how the club has developed and look forward to the next 100 years.

You are invited to join the members of Blofield Tennis Club on 11 May 2024 for its Annual Open Day.

It's a great opportunity for you and your family to try tennis for the first time or dust off that old racket and get back into the sport. Tennis is a fantastic outdoor social activity, that can be played throughout the year. The Club invested in a second hard court in the Autumn 2022 to compliment the grass courts, providing an annual programme of activities from coaching, social play and team tennis for all ages and levels of play.

There will be some free group sessions for adults and juniors led by our LTA registered coach Chris Stocker at the Open Day. There will be rackets for you to use if you do not have your own and we ask that you wear trainers and loose clothing/sports clothing to participate.

It's a great time for youngsters to take up the game in your local community. We run Adult and Junior coaching sessions throughout the year (juniors go indoors at the Margaret Harket Hall in the Winter). Some children may have been introduced to mini tennis through the schools outreach programme run by our LTA licensed coaching team and so this is a good way to give them further coaching and playing opportunities.

Why not come along, have a free tennis session with our coaching team and meet some of our members. You can also find out what membership can offer.

  • Places on the Open Day sessions are free.
  • Sessions on 11 May 2024 are open to Adults and Children from 4 yrs.
  • Time 10.00am to 2.00pm
  • There will be Cakes and Coffee/Tea available on the day

We look forward to welcoming you to our Club.
