The membership fees are paid annually, the subscription year runs from the 1st May to the 30th April.

Junior Membership

For Summer 2024, we will be offering junior members eight Club sessions on Friday afternoons with an LTA licensed coach.
These are included in the 2024/5 Junior membership subscription, will run from May to July and are subject to sufficient numbers registering for Junior Club.

Coaching will be provided by Tennis Edge

Rusty Rackets Offer

New adult members taking up a full years membership for the first time will be offered a free one hour introductory coaching session with one of our coaches, to get into the swing and help introduce you to existing members. This offer is not available with the winter memberships - those adults joining after 1 September can still participate in the adult coaching sessions at the published prices.

Coaching

Chris Stocker and his team at Tennis Edge provide Adult and Junior, Individual or Group coaching sessions. Courses are available and are subject to course fees - for further details see our Tennis Activities pages. Private coaching sessions can be arranged by contacting Chris Stocker at Tennis Edge - details on our Contact page - please note that if Chris does not answer your telephone call immediately, he may be on court coaching and so ask that you leave a message or email him, so that he can get back to you as soon as he is free.

Tournaments

A full programme of tournaments were played in 2024 with record numbers participating. These sessions are popular, not only to members, but also non-members - for details see our Tennis Activities page.

Club Court Dress Code

Clothing

Suitable safe & serviceable sports wear should be worn by members or players on court, preferably recognised tennis wear.

Footwear

All members or players must wear recognised tennis shoes on the grass courts. Tennis shoes are rubber soled and have smooth uniformly patterned soles without raised heels, spikes, studs, cleats, bars or deep ribbing. Trainers are not permitted on the grass courts in any circumstances as they cause damage to the grass surface.

Tennis shoes should preferably also be worn on the hard court and we ask that players remove any debris from shoes before entering the hard courts.
