Lots going on at the Club this week.

The adult coaching on the existing hard court, saw 6 members enjoy Ben's lesson on improving backhand shots. Ben then followed this up with another member having a one to one lesson.

Our court maintenance contractor continued the autumn work, scarifying, dressing and re-seeding the baselines on courts one and two.

The building contractor started work on the conversion of court 4 from grass to hard court (macadam). Fences have already come down and work started on the retaining wall near the Clubhouse. Over the next few days, excavation of the turf will take place and with a fair wind the contractor advised the court could be completed in one months time.

We will keep you posted with pictures and updates as work progresses.

Please be mindful of the movement of some large kit around the recreation grounds over the next few weeks - particularly when walking to/from the existing hard court to play tennis. The grass court area is out of bounds to all but contractors and the project team while works continue.
