Invitation to a Presentation by Susan Gudjonsson

On June 25th 2017 Brentwood Tennis club is hosting a special open day to recreate a photograph that hangs in the clubhouse.

Members will be dressing up in period costume, playing some tennis and trying to recreate the photo which shows members or Brentwood, hosting soldiers wounded in World War 1 during the summer of 1917.

To help with that event Susan Gudjonsson from the local history group has done a lot of research into the club and the local area at the time of World War 1, and is coming to the club on Wednesday 24th May at 7pm to do a presentation on information she has found out and to try and answer any questions people have.

This will also give members an ideal opportunity to see what type of costume will be needed for the actual event in June.

Everyone is welcome, the doors open at 6:30pm, please come along and support the evening as Susan has put a lot of effort into the evening on behalf of the club.
