The courts need repainting. It can only be done in the warmer months to allow curing of the paint. Much discussion has taken place to ascertain the optimum time to do this. The person most affected will be the Coach, Stewart who depends on the courts for his income. Stewart & myself agreed the best time would be early August when a lot of members were away on holiday and it was a good time for him to take a couple of weeks holiday. This was done a year ago and an email was sent out to all members this long in advance. 

Whilst the weather card will always be "luck of the draw" August offers us the best chance of dry weather to maximise turnaround time and reduce court closures. The dates have been confirmed as: 

START 6th August. 

FINISH 20th August. 

As stated this will be weather dependent and our aim is to try to keep one court open during this time but it is difficult to schedule in advance. Keep your eyes on booking availability because some courts will be open some days during this period. Closures will be updated daily during this period.
