ASHFORD WINTER LEAGUE

 Matches played at the week-end on Saturday or Sunday.   Our home matches are played on Sunday afternoons from 1pm.

Matches are played further afield than the summer Dover and District League and can include Charing, Headcorn, Sissinghurst and this year Biddenden have joined the league so there can be more travelling involved.

There are men’s, women’s and mixed divisions.  Last year we had one mixed and one men’s team.
Entries have to be made by 24th August.

A captain for each team is needed.  This involves organising a team and refreshments for home matches, liaising with the opposition, rearranging matches – always happens during the winter -  and ensuring the results are sent in on time.
