American Tournament

We would just like to say how amazing the tournament was on Sunday. Given that it was held on a very hot Sunday afternoon, we were not too hopeful of a high turnout.  However, the committee, the coaching staff  and the members did us proud.

We played an American Tournament over 5 rounds, with change of partners every round.
There was an amazing range of cakes - chocolate / strawberry / lemon drizzle and an array of buns. I  have never seen Kevin eat so much!  We were supposed to sell the cakes but given the generosity of the participants, we didn't have the heart to ask for any more money.

Kev - full of cake and Janette were the winners in a closely contested tournament.

Andy and Matty deserve much praise for their patience and joining in the fun.

The biggest winner was the fundraising page for a new science lab at St Ambrose in Sierra Leone.  We raised over £300 towards this great cause - you guys are amazing.
