Today saw the official opening of the clubs newly refurbished 1 & 2 courts.

There was a solid turnout of around 25 people consisting of past and present members as well as Lancashire Tennis representatives.

Opened by club president Jenny Pearson with the cutting of the ribbon, a pleasant time was had by all despite the dull weather. The first matches to be played involved some of the club's current longest serving members and members that played an integral part in the courts becoming a reality.

Now it's onto match practice for our playing members before the season starts on April 28th.
