Keen to experience the excitement of competing on grass, a large group of players from the club arrived at the impressive historic buildings and grounds of the Oratory School in Woodcote on the morning of Sunday June 30th.

With a window of almost totally dry weather, play got under way with everyone tentatively adapting to the unique challenges of grass court tennis. After a morning of riveting men's and women's round robin competition, the group winners competed in a mixed doubles final with Laura and Jez prevailing against Cathy and James.
