Congratulations to all the winners of this year’s Club Championships! The Men’s Final was a thrilling encounter between Edwin Lau and Ben Silvester-Ratcliffe. Ben recovered from a set and 2-5 down to force a decider, and in the end, after some incredibly impressive rallies and well constructed points on both sides, Edwin prevailed to claim the title for the third time. Holly Ranson is the 2023 women's champion. Sadly, the final was cut short owing to an injury to Laura Salinas.
Alex Stronach took the Boys 18U Singles title with a win against Vadim Lyakhovets. Other winners in the juniors' events were Nathan Robinson who overcame the challenge of Jovan Singh Mattu in the 14U Open Singles. The 12U Open Singles champion is Lily Trung.
Many thanks to everyone who took part, came to watch or helped out on Finals Day. Thank you in particular to Richard, Tom and Ben for running the tournament. And well done to all the players who entered and played in the earlier rounds of the competition.
