The club is organising a festive-themed FUN doubles tournament on Saturday 8th December (1 pm start). There will be no club session or coaching during the afternoon on that day.

Times:

The start time will be 1pm sharp and play will be fairly continuous for a couple of hours after which festive-themed refreshments will be served.

Format:

Depending on numbers, it's likely to be a tubby turkey doubles format, which is like a round robin but with a festive twist (and, no, you don't have to be tubby to take part)! Each match will be a Turkey Tiebreak Tens contest (first pair to reach a score of twelve - sudden death point at 11-11). At any stage in a match, each team will be allowed to play a turkey card enabling them to score a bonus point! 

Refreshments:

The entry fee will include a festive afternoon tea after the tennis.

Cost:

£5 per person (non-refundable) payable in advance. 

Other stuff:

Please feel free to wear tinsel or festive hats or christmas jumpers!
