A Wimbledon-themed Mixed Doubles FUN Tournament will be held on the grass courts at the Oratory School in Woodcote on Sunday 30th June (10am - 1pm).  

Venue:
The Oratory School, Woodcote (signposted from the A4074)

Times:
The start time will be 10am sharp and play will be fairly continuous until 12.30pm when a few light refreshments will be served.

Format:
It will be an "American Tournament" round robin format. There will be 2 groups of 6 mixed pairs. Pairings will be drawn at the start. Each match will comprise 8 games - 4 games with your partner and 4 games against, i.e. after the first 4 games players switch sides. 'Sudden death' will apply at deuce (receivers choose side). At the end of each match, a record is made of each individual players' total games won. You'll play all the other 5 pairs in your group and, at the conclusion of the round robin, the 2 highest scoring men and the 2 highest scoring women will compete in the final. It's competitive but the emphasis is mainly on having fun.
