We are delighted that Eva Senior and Abi Redman battled through the week-long national finals of Play Your Way to Wimbledon, Powered by Vodafone, to become the 18U Girls Doubles Champions.

The finals marked the culmination of many months of local and regional competition – the largest individual mass participation tennis tournament in the UK – with more than 10,000 playing opportunities across over 800 venues. 192 promising junior tennis players, from across the UK, competed on Wimbledon’s Aorangi courts. Competing in traditional Wimbledon whites, national finalists got a tour of Wimbledon’s iconic grounds before being joined by British tennis legends Tim Henman and Laura Robson.

Despite strong opposition, Abi and Eva competed superbly all through the week. They did not drop a single set in all of their matches and continued their excellent form with 6-0, 6-3  final win over their Essex opponents.

This victory tops a run of wins for the girls after their two Tennis Europe doubles wins at the end of last year in Liverpool and Gothenburg. Congratulations and let's hope this pair's success goes from strength to strength. Well done!
