Cheslyn Hay - Wimbledon – Roland Garros Challenge - Charity Fundraiser
We are looking for Cheslyn Hay players, parents & residents to support us in collectively travelling the 357 mile distance from Cheslyn Hay to Wimbledon to Roland Garros in Paris.
Over the week of Saturday 16th January to Sunday 24th January.
Any Donations will be spilit between two causes which are so close to our hearts especially with physical activity and mental health being more vital than ever.
Mind UK who provide essential advise to people with mental health difficulties & providing free Tennis in our local area through Equipment for sessions which will allow everyone to keep active whatever background and age.
How can you take part?
1. Walk, Run or Cycle during the weekend recording your distance. A form will be sent out for you to fill in distances.
2. Donate to our chosen charity of Mind UK and Free Tennis in local area ran by Cheslyn Hay & Cannock Chase TC.
3. If you would be able to help any further and set up your own personal fundraising page please let me know.
Also all donations will be entered into a Tennis prize draw which include the chance to win Cheslyn Hay Kit & official Wimbledon merchandise.

Lockdown Balls, Rackets & Mini Tennis Nets
For all current players, we will loaning rackets, balls and Mini Tennis nets for the duration of lockdown so that you play at home / open spaces.
We will be on the lay-by of Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre between 10am-10:30am on Saturday 9th January to hand items out.
Please message us if possible to confirm equipment.

We are excited to put together a video to help you keep practising your Tennis skills and keep active.
Each exercise has 3 levels: Challenge, Simplify & activities if don't have a Racket. Have a go at each level! There are over 50 different activities and videos to try!
