About this course

Notes from the coach

This course aimed at 11-18 year olds that need to continue developing their technique (we may accept a 10 year old that has spent some time in a SBD class and meets the prerequisites below). We will do this via a series of progressions linked to some fun games and matchplay. IMPORTANT NOTE: As a prerequisite to enrolling onto this class children will need to be able to throw, catch and rally with yellow tennis balls (at least rally inside the service box with). The players will further develop the skills they have learned in class with a King Of The Court style matchplay where they use what they have been taught by playing competitive points in a fun safe environment. Once the players are confident they can play matches outside class joining our super popular FREE of charge Internal Box Leagues is highly recommended (if they want) - this class aims to develop the players confidence to play tennis.
