So Seaford Tennis Club hosted our annual LTA grde 3 level Tournament last week.

Some of our young guns were playing in the event and did very well.

Firstly in the 9 & under category we had Olivia Piveteau one of our youngest players to ever compete in such a high grade tournament ( picture above ) who manged to win 2 out of her 4 matches. this was a great acheivment as it was also Livs first ever LTA tournament she has played in. 

We also had Tom Allen compete in the boys 10 & under's and he also managed to pick up a win and lost two very close matches in a really high level category.

Euan Rayner-Gray was in the under 18's boys as well as the mens. Euan won his first match against a highly ranked opponent in straight sets but unfortunately struggled in his second match with a shoulder issue which resulted in a loss and then also had to pull out of the mens event.

A huge well done to these three players for competing so well and showing great on court manners also.

im hoping maybe next year there will be more of our own players ready to take the plunge.
