On 19 June, the Dundee Deuces will host a Pride Celebration Pickleball Open Day at St Paul's Swim and Sports Centre on Gillburn Road, Dundee. The session will run from 7pm to 9pm. Our excellent coach, Coach Fabian, and our Pickleball Ambassador, Ciarán, will be on hand to support you in joining in and learning to play pickleball.
Not sure what pickleball is? Pickleball is a fun sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. In Scotland, it is mostly played indoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net. Usually played in doubles format, four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, over a net.
We will provide paddles and balls for the session. You just need to show up in comfortable clothing for exercise and trainers.
