EATSC City League 2023 Season Report

MEN’S TEAMS
The A team narrowly lost out on first place in Division 1 on game difference winning 9 of
their 12 matches. The B team, also playing in Division 1 found the opposition tough, came
6 th and will be relegated. The C team came 4 th in Division 3 so they should retain their spot
in that division and the D team came fifth in Division 6 so will probably be relegated.

LADIES’ TEAMS
The A team won Division 1, winning 11 of their 12 matches to regain the trophy having lost
out to David Lloyd A in 2022. The B team came second in Division 2 and will regain their
spot in Division 1. The C team also played in Division 2 but struggled and will be relegated
as will the D team who likewise found life difficult in Division 3. The E team did well and
retain their spot in Division 4.

We understand there are several new entries for the 2024 season so the demarcation lines
may change in regard to relegations or possibly new divisions added. The ladies have
some newcomers joining the ranks but anyone interested in playing should get in touch –
initially with Alasdair.

At the AGM, Diane Bush accepted the trophy on behalf of the Ladies’ A team. The 2024
season starts on Monday 6 th May. Good luck!
