CLUB DEVELOPMENT UPDATE

The club is in the process of a major upgrade with the aim of making ELTC an exceptional tennis venue.

In July 2017, we hope to start the conversion of courts 3 and 4 from grass to floodlit tarmac. The addition of two extra all year floodlit courts will make the club significantly better for both existing and new members.

This phase of the development will be funded by a combination of club funds, an LTA grant and a loan from the LTA. The loan is secured on the club site and will be paid back annually over 10 years on an interest free basis. We can repay the loan through increased membership, coaching, and event revenues together with cost savings on the reduced maintenance of the grass courts.

This is not the full extent of the developments planned for the club and over the next five years we will be raising funds to pay for the extension of floodlighting, artificial clay court surfacing and kitchen and bar upgrades.
