Despite an early scare with the weather and some slippery grass courts, we were able to play all the matches and complete them on time. It was great to see some of our longest standing members of the club, such as Michael Dixon, Doug Peters and Helen Sage. We had the Finals of both the main event and the plate tournament (for people who had lost in the first round).

We had an excellent BBQ lunch and superb afternoon tea. Many people very kindly gave up their time to help out on the day. The helpers are too numerous to mention, but without these people volunteering the day wouldn’t have been the success it so obviously was.
