This is to advise all members that our courts are due to be resurfaced starting on 24th October and will therefore be out of use for up to approximately 6 weeks, i.e. until about 4th December.

This will include painting of temporary lines, as we have been advised painting to the normal colours is best delayed until warmer/drier weather in the spring – when there will be another closure of about a week to allow the new paint to cure.

To enable League matches and other tennis to continue during this period, we have agreed an arrangement with Lechlade Tennis Club allowing us to use their courts on a temporary basis.  They have also said our members are welcome to join their club sessions on Tuesday and Friday mornings (9.30-11.00) for a fee of £3.00 per session or Thursday evenings (6.30) for £5.50 including floodlights.   For these sessions Lechlade have asked that you pay cash on the day to one of the Lechlade Committee members (Andy Sutherland, Nick Bent, Gay Oliver or Jon Murray) - whoever is there.

We will all look forward to playing on the new surface before Christmas and hopefully for many years to come.  Many apologies for any inconvenience caused in the meantime.
