The Mini Orange team of Zoe Pitcher, Jacob Jeffrey, Finley Singleton, and Fraser Hart faced strong Boston players in scorching conditions recently. They all played one doubles and two singles matches.
Finley and Fraser teamed up brilliantly to win their doubles in a third-set tiebreak, leaving the scores level going into singles.
The matches were so close, with most decided by tiebreaks. Jacob won both of his singles matches, and everyone else won one.
GTC's strong serving was a significant factor in helping them come out on top. The final score was 12-8 to GTC in a tie played with a great effort and attitude from both sides.
