Our monthly junior badminton & table tennis tournaments happened on Saturday 2nd November. We had a good turnout, particularly considering it was half term, with some new finalists this month.
Badminton
Our winner was Sunny Toply who narrowly beat Libby Sperke in the final. Ben Wood and Millie Adrian-Horrocks came in as joint third. Special mentions go to Megan Lister for her help on the adding of the scores and Keira Lister for staying the most cheery and enthusiastic despite being the youngest (and smallest) player.
Table Tennis
Ten very enthusiastic players took part in the November Table Tennis tournament. This included several new faces which is great, as it gives competitive match play experience in a friendly atmosphere!
The semi- finalists were Robin Wilkins, Charlie Crankshaw, Danny Owen and Leo Murray. The final was won by Robin beating Leo 11-8 11-8. There was a very close 3rd and 4th place play off: Charlie won the first game 12-10 against Danny and then Danny came back to win the next two games 12-10,12-10 ! Well done to everyone who took part.
