North Yorkshire School Games Senior Badminton

School badminton teams from across North Yorkshire battled for a place in the County finals of the School Games today, with teams from across North Yorkshire taking the winning titles.

Taking place at York Railway Institute, the tournament saw girls and boys from both Key Stage 3 and 4 compete for the four winning spots. The competition included a mixture of singles and doubles games, and some close matches took place throughout the day.

Today's winners will now go on to compete in the Yorkshire finals taking place on Tuesday 3rd March 2020 at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield, and if successful will also compete in the national round following this. Good luck to Harrogate Grammar School, Ermysteds, St Aidan's and Huntington in the regional round!
