Harrogate Racquets held its first junior badminton championships this weekend. It was well attended with players across Under 10, Under 13 and Under 17 age groups. The winner of the Under 10s was Millie Adrian-Horrocks who closely beat runner up Faye Oxtoby. In the Under 13s Ben Statham, one of Racquets Yorkshire County players won, the runner up was Sahil Wani. Jemima Kingston won the medal for having the best attitude and keeping going despite facing some formidable opponents. 

Under 17 age group had some of our best juniors enter and we watched some very close matches. The result was - winner Kieran Saphir runner up Callum Brookes.

All winners will proudly feature on our role of honour board in the club house for 2018.
