This last term has seen some great activity in the badminton section with over 150 youngsters from Pannal, Rossett and Oatlands Junior and Infant Schools visiting the club. It has been fantastic to see such enthusiasm and committment by these children to play a completely new sport in most cases and those that already play develop some of their skills.

Following this activity to give the children the opportunity to put their hard work into practise we held a 3 school tournament at the club. Each school entered a team of 8, 4 boys and 4 girls from yr 4,5 and 6.

We saw some fantastic rallies and really good sporting behaviour. 

The results were as follows

In third place Rossett Primary School, 2nd place Pannal Primary School the winners Oatlands Junior School.

A very big well done to everyone that took part. We look forward to seeing you all again next year.
