Badminton

A hugely enjoyable badminton tournament was held on Saturday with 10 of our Under 12 juniors competing against each other. Ben Tetley was the undefeated champion of the day with Eleanor Adrian-Horrocks as the runner up. There were some really closely fought matches and some great attitudes from our players who didn’t win all their games but never gave up.

Well done and thanks to Matthew’s Dad and Faye and Lois’ Mum for helping out with the scoring. 

We’re looking forward to the 3rd March already!

Table Tennis

A great afternoon of competitive play in the table tennis centre. We had 14 entries and played 4 groups. The winners of each group then played each other and the others continued playing some very competitive matches. It was great to see the enthusiasm and developing skills of our juniors.

Well done to all the winners especially the overall winner Matas Laukaitis. The others in that group were Robin Wilkins,  Eashan Saeed, and Magnus Chisholm. (see photo)

The best attitude prize was awarded to Oliver Trewhitt.

A big thank you to all the parents for supporting this event and bringing the children along. It is always fantastic to see the children put all their hard work into practise.
