The Babolat Summer League is well under way, and our Hayle teams were in action over the bank holiday weekend!

Our Ladies’ team—Lucy, Caroline, Deb, and Claire—faced Perran B at home on Monday. It was a tight match, with both teams winning 4 sets each, but Perran edged the overall victory by just 6 games!

Meanwhile, the Men's B team travelled to Penzance D, where Tim, Paul K, Paul H, and Phil (left to right below) put in a fantastic effort. The match finished 6 sets apiece, but Penzance narrowly claimed the win by only 2 games. With plenty of long rallies, deuces, and tie-breaks, it truly could have gone either way.

While the wins slipped just out of reach, both Hayle teams played brilliantly against tough opposition from larger clubs—and they're fired up for the rest of the league season ahead!
