The annual family and social Christmas tournament took place on the 16th of December. This was well attended, including 30 members playing mixed doubles throughout the day despite the cold weather and latterly a scattering of rain. Lunch included three types of soups (butternut squash, carrot and coriander and leak and potato) and fresh bread, this was very welcome as it kept us warm and injected some energy for the afternoon’s action.  The day concluded by celebrating the winners with some warm mulled wine and a delicious range of home cakes provided by members.

So on behalf of the HLTC we would like to thank the cooks, washers, players and tournament organizers for their help in supporting this day.
