It was a balmy early September afternoon, at the end of a long overdue heatwave, when the Autumn tournament arrived. The last of our seasonal tournaments, members put their 2023 season-honed skills to the final test and competed in mixed doubles using the usual format and scoring. The placings were as follows – third to Jon W, second to John F and first to Kirsty R. A huge thank you to our new Chair for organising the event and to everyone who competed and again to the local crowd who turned out to cheer on the players and enjoy the tea and cake!

Remember all ages and abilities from the membership are welcome to take part and HPTC seasonal Sunday tournaments are fun and sociable events, whatever your skill level. HPTC is all about inclusive, social community tennis.  We hope to bring the Tournaments to you again next season!
