What can you expect?
At the Blue stage, children will learn fundamental skills for tennis through play in a fun, stimulating and safe environment. Children will be encouraged to make decisions and positively cooperate with other children. Sessions will be active with skills being developed at an appropriate pace to the child’s experience and ability.
Notes from the coach
Join the WPTA coaching team in Wimbledon Park for our LTA Youth series of coaching. These courses are aimed at players aged 4-11yrs and have a carefully designed progression of coaching classes that cover different age groups and ability levels. LTA Youth Blue is aimed at players aged 4-6 years and focuses on basic tennis skills and development using larger balls and smaller court space. The classes are all run by highly qualified coaches who have been specifically trained to deliver LTA Youth classes. WPTA is a highly respected local tennis coaching service that has been helping young players develop their skills on court for several years.
